Due to the United States Prevalence of Chronic Disease, the following statistical data are confirmed about the America’s cases of allergic diseases: One out of four Americans were affected by allergy epidemic. 50 million Americans or more suffer from different types of disease-causing allergies every year. The 6th leading cause of chronic diseases in the United States are allergies. Such cost the healthcare system of the U.S.A. 18 billion dollars per year. 9 percent and 6 percent are the two estimated percentages of people of the United States that are suffering from allergic rhinocojunctivitis or rhinitis, commonly known as hay fever. The occurrence of the aforementioned disease has increased to a large extent since 1995. Children under the age of 4 are the most frequent victims of food allergies, in approximately 6 to 8 percent of the total population of the range, and about 4 percent of adults. Estimated percentages of 0.6% and 0.4% of Americans were affected by peanut and tree nut allergies, respectively. The most common cause or culprit of drug allergy is penicillin. Approximately 400 deaths every year were caused by anaphylactic reactions to penicillin. About 14 million offices who visited various U.S.A.’s healthcare providers in 2002 were attributed to allergic rhinitis, or hay fever.
