Cigarette Smoke Allergy


Cigarette smoke allergy is not caused by an allergen, as most of the people are mistaken, but instead an irritant. Nowadays, due to fast evolvement of the latest trend in medical field, some studies suggested that cigarette smoke can trigger or aggravates allergies.
Cigarette smoke contains toxic chemicals and irritants which are not only harmful to our lungs, but rather, may be a cause of allergies such as asthma, sinusitis and bronchitis.
Passive smokers or the people surrounding the smokers, such as the wife or husband, the children, relatives of the smokers, who have a daily and frequent contact to the one who smokes, are the ones who are more susceptible in developing some respiratory infections and allergies.
Cigarette smoke is the most common cause of allergies that are taken for granted due to inadequate education on how it could aggravate allergies or may be, a vehicle to transmit this toxic chemicals or irritant that it contains to one person to another.
So as early as today, as an individual, one must be responsible enough to stop this spread. Start by quitting smoking.  If you are a smoker, by this, you are not only helping yourself but also the other people surrounding you by helping them prevent the acquirement of different types of diseases and allergic complications caused by cigarette smoke.
